The MS-900 is a modular, eight input SD mobile studio that speeds the workflow of any SD or travelling studio. The shock-mounted 8 RU aluminum case of the MS-900 houses the SE-900 switcher, which can accept a variety of input boards for DV, SDI, DVI , YUV, as well as S-Video and composite video. It can store up to two logos for output display.
It also features a CG (Character Generator) overlay channel. A CG (like Datavideo's CG-100) can be used as a DSK and retain access to the multiple outputs of the SE-900 switcher. It also has a built-in 17" monitor with multi-view output, which folds down to 1 RU for travel.
Some card options include external sync and a chromakey card that allows cuts between two cameras and two backgrounds. Additionally, it has an eight channel wired intercom with belt-packs and tally lights.
Included are 8 x YUV, S Input, and analog audio inputs on the motherboard, keyboard, multi image preview card, SDI CG overlay card, CV, YUV, S, DV video output cards, and 1 chromakey card. It also comes with a 3 x RP-12 (1U cover panel), RP-28 (MS-900 hinge), RP-31 (MS-900 back panel), and RP-34 (cable set).
