The isomax mic is versatile and pure. I use it in a rock band on my flute. The clip makes for easy setup. It has a bit of cork where it contacts the flute to protect and hold it secure. When getting used to having the mic attached to my flute I accidentally stepped on the wire and the clip came right off the flute, protecting my flute from tipping over and the wire from damage. Does it's job.
