The Roland SD-50 Mobile Studio Canvas is a powerful, pocket-sized sound module, MIDI and Audio computer interface, and audio file player device. The compact SD-50 Mobile Studio Canvas also includes Sonar 8.5LE software, making it a completely portable studio for songwriters, musicians, producers, karaoke and more.
There are up to 1,125 quality sounds to suit the gamut of music styles, including GM and GS banks for Standard MIDI File (SMF) playback. The SD-50 is a 2 in / 2 out audio and MIDI interface, with a microphone input and Hi-Z input for guitars and other instruments. In additional to all this, the SD-50 will also playback SMF, MP3, WAV and AIFF files, making it a completely portable audio player.
