Sony VPCF121FX/B Overview

The VAIO F VPCF121FX/B 16.4" Notebook Computer from Sony is a large-screen notebook computer, built with performance in mind. The computer is powered by a quad-core 1.73GHz Intel Core i7-740QM, which can be overclocked to 2.93GHz via the Intel Turbo Boost system. Graphics are provided by a dedicated nVIDIA GeForce 310M GPU with 512MB of memory.

The computer features a 16:9 aspect ratio screen with a 1600 x 900 native resolution, capable of displaying 720p video at full resolution. This works hands-in-hand with the computer's Blu-ray drive, allowing you to watch HD movies with ease. The system is loaded with Sony's Media Gallery software, which makes it easy to organize all of your digital media.

The computer is loaded with 4GB of RAM, a 500GB 5400rpm hard drive, 802.11n Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 2.1+EDR, an integrated webcam and microphone, FireWire-400, and a memory card reader. An ExpressCard/34 slot is available for expansion card installation. Windows 7 Home Premium (64-bit) is the installed operating system.
