The Promise E-Class 2-Year Extended Warranty is an extended warranty for VTrak E-class RAID subsystems. Made for Mac E-Class models are sold exclusively through Apple authorized channels. These systems ship fully integrated with tested hard drives. Coverage of the Made for Mac systems, including hard drives, is included with the Promise Extended Warranty.
This warranty covers the following models:
TV270VC/A VTrak E-Class - 4TB Raw Capacity 4x1TB SATA drives single controller
TV272VC/A VTrak E-Class - 8TB Raw Capacity 8x1TB SATA drives
TV299VC/A VTrak E-Class - 16TB Raw Capacity 16x1TB SATA drives
TV271VC/A VTrak E-Class - 7.2TB Raw Capacity 16x450GB SAS drives
This extended warranty gives you the same service and support as the standard limited 3-year warranty that comes with the product for an additional 2 years, making it a total of 5 years of coverage. It can be purchased anytime during the original 3 year warranty period of the VTrak subsystem and coverage begins when the original warranty expires.
The Promise technical support team is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, to help troubleshoot issues, and advanced replacement parts are available for an additional 2 years as part of this service plan.
Note: The extended warranty does not extend the standard warranty for battery backup units and does not cover third party components added to the system such as SFP modules, cables and hard drives.
