USB device not recognized when I plug it in to PC laptop, What can I do?
I have used mine in multiple desktop and laptop PC's with no problems. Cannot offer a solution other than I have a zip drive that one computer won't recognize while I have no problems in other computers. Try it in another computer, if you still have problems it's probably a an issue with the pointer. If it works it's a communication problem with the laptop.

Will this remote advance slides in Adobe Acrobat? I intend to layout my presentation in InDesign and then convert to PDF for its portability reasons, self contained fonts, and use on any computer. BUT, I would like a remote that will be able to advance from one slide to the next when using Acrobat. Thanks. - Kevin
Yes it will advance (and reverse) PDFs. However the black screen function does not appear to work with PDFs, just PowerPoints. The wireless presenter will also advance web pages, documents, etc.
