SurCode Encoder for DTS-HD for Compressor from Minnetonka is a fully licensed and certified DTS-HD audio encoder plug-in for Apple Compressor 3. With it you are able to produce audio streams for Blu-ray, DVD or CD using a variety of .dtshd, .cpt and .wav encode types, from lossless DTS-HD Master Audio, to lower bit rate DTS Express.
The plug-in can also encode DTS-HD High Resolution Audio and DTS Digital Surround at sample rates of 48kHz and up to 6.1 channels. The plug-in comes bundled with SurCode Decoder for DTS-HD for QuickTime, and the suite brings lossless surround sound straight from your Final Cut and Logic sessions to disc.
In addition to Blu-ray Disc, the plug-in can also be used to produce DVD compatible .cpt files at up to 96kHz with DTS 96/24, or up to 6.1 discrete channels with DTS-ES. For those working with surround music, the plug-in can create 5.1 DTS .wav files for DTS Music Discs, which can be burned on a standard CD-R for playback on any DTS compatible system.
The plug-in is also capable of delivering multiple DTS encoded stream types for batch processing, to local drives or across networks.
