The OS³-CC 3-Way Omnipolar Center Channel Speaker from Mirage provides high-quality audio in a compact and attractive package, ideal for home theater systems. The slim cabinet has a high-gloss black finish and a black cloth grille to fit into virtually any decor. The cabinet houses a pair of 4.5" woofers and a 3" midrange driver, each of which has a poly-titanium deposit hybrid construction to provide strong bass and midrange performance. The woofers have neodymium motor structures and aluminum phase plugs, as well as Ribbed Elliptical Surround technology for high-output bass with low distortion. The 0.75" pure titanium hybrid tweeter provides clear, accurate treble.
The speaker uses Mirage's unique Omnipolar approach to sound to deliver 360° audio that evenly fills your listening environment. A patented Omniguide module has 2 deflectors to distribute sound. One of the deflectors rests on top of the tweeter, and the tweeter itself is housed inside a deflector. The result of this technology is pure sound, no matter where you sit in the room. The rear panel of the speaker has 5-way binding post connectors, making it easy to connect to a variety of receivers and home theater systems. For convenient mounting, the speaker includes a wall bracket and a detachable tabletop stand so you can choose the best place for installation.
