The OS³-Sat 2-Way Omnipolar Satellite Bookshelf Speaker (Black) from Mirage provides high-quality audio in a compact and attractive package, ideal for home theater systems. The miniature speaker can be used as a main, center, or surround speaker, so you can use it by itself or alongside other speakers in the Omnisat series. The cabinet has a high-gloss black finish and to fit into virtually any decor. The cabinet houses a 4.5" woofer with a polypropylene-titanium deposit hybrid construction to provide strong bass performance. The woofer has an aluminum phase plug, as well as Ribbed Elliptical Surround technology for high-output bass with low distortion. The 1" pure titanium hybrid tweeter provides clear, accurate treble.
The speaker uses Mirage's unique Omnipolar approach to sound to deliver 360° audio that evenly fills your listening environment. A patented Omniguide module has 2 deflectors to distribute sound. One of the deflectors rests on top of the tweeter, and the tweeter itself is housed inside a deflector suspended over the woofer. The result of this technology is pure sound, no matter where you sit in the room. The rear panel of the speaker has 5-way binding post connectors, making it easy to connect to a variety of receivers and home theater systems. For convenient mounting, the speaker includes a wall/ceiling bracket so you can choose the best place for installation without taking up valuable floor space.
