These Kalt clips are perfect and work just as needed. I use it with a piece of shoelace in my curtain rod and get perfectly flat negatives everytime.
They work well, but rust a little

I like that they're inexpensive; film clips shouldn't be as expensive as the Paterson ones. (no matter HOW good they are!) These punch through the negatives. Each set has a weighted one, make sure that goes at the bottom of your strip of negs.
