Datatainer Storage Bottle (32 oz) is rated 4.6 out of 5 by 49.
Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not if your serious- Cannot see contents. Impossible to clean. Notation surface works, but only with indelible marker. Worst of all the cheap white plastic caps, which should of course be sturdy and black, crack open, spilling fixer all over your coat and new gloves, which are now in the laundry, making a smelly puddle the cat gets curious about, which needs to be thoroughly cleaned, and ruins your morning. I've used boston style round glass containers for decades and bought these on a whim. Never again.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good bottle. This is a good storage bottle for my chemicals to develop B&W film. It holds a little more than a quart. It will actually hold a liter(1 liter=33.8 ounces). I measured it with a beaker.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from simple, but important I prefer this Dataliner bottle over my old solid brown bottles for two reasons: the clear stripe running down the side of the bottle allows me to see exactly what is left in the bottle, and the level is marked off in ounces and mililiters. Makes so much sense. This bottle has the typical narrow opening, which I wish was slightly larger for pouring back into the bottle.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I love these bottles These are great! They have labels of what's in the bottle, when it was mixed, how to use it, etc. The only con is that there is a strip on the side where you can read the level of the liquid inside. For light sensitive chemicals, this is a bit problematic.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Best option I've found for basic chemical storage I use these for storing C-41 developer. Bottles are good quality and thickness for keeping chemicals useable and do exactly what I need. I also appreciate the areas made for labeling and writing dates and instructions. My only problem is that the lid seals (little foam discs that live in the lids) come out every time I take the lids off though I'm not sure if they're needed for air tightness in the first place.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not as practical as I thought Small opening takes a long time to pour back into while your film is sitting in developer. Time it first before processing. I dont think marbles would fit through the opening. Use a black grease pen to write on it. Holds under a litre (only 940ml), so if you make 500 ml there's a lot of air. If you make 1L it doesn't fit. No way to see how full it is, too dark. But it does contain liquids as intended.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Stupid lid seals spoil the experience I chose these bottles over a cheaper brand, due to the label panels. They would be GREAT, if not for the lid seals that are first fairly sealed to the bottle, then once remove and inserted into the lid, continually come out on opening the bottle. AND, you get a glue residue on the bottle opening that you wipe off... and somehow find more, later.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from It's a bottle As a hobby I recently started to develop my own film and needed containers to hold chemicals. My first thought was to use washed out soda bottles with the labels replaced. Then I realized that I have grandchildren who visit on a regular basis. Storing chemicals in soda bottles - not a good idea. These were inexpensive and filled the need.
