Polycarbonate Cover For Technics SL-1200 / SL-1210 is rated 4.8 out of 5 by 13.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Tough Technics Dust Cover This dust cover fits my SL1210-M5G perfectly. Unlike the stock cover it sits down over all four outer edges- leaving zero gap for dust to get in. The stock cover has a millimeter or two of gap. The Decksaver cover is also a bit softer than the stock cover. This cover is just barely too small to fit over the outer edges of my SL1200GAE. The GAE has a thick aluminum top that is just slightly larger than the original 1200/1210. The Decksaver cover will still work, it just won't go over all 4 edges. It will ride to the top of the rear edge but will still keep the dust out. It's just not the perfect fit that it is with the original 1200 series.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Does exactly what it was designed to do Years ago I acquired a Technics SL1200MKII that had neither the dust cover, nor the hinges, so I've been draping an old t-shirt over it to keep the dust at bay. Well, it was time to get something a touch more elegant, and this cover fits the bill (and the turntable) perfectly. It keeps the dust off the table and looks pretty good doing it, and it's nearly as expensive as the OEM dustcover and hinges. My only complaint is the notch that runs down the center. I'm sure it was put there for structural reasons, however, if you have a large cartridge on your tonearm, you can't put the cover on while playing a record because the low notch gets in the way. Other than that, it's a great cover. NOTE: This is just a cover that sits on the turntable - no hinges or even a way to use it with the existing hinges if you have them.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Airtight, light, and quite the sight! I use this on my tTechnics sl 1200 m3d. The m3d has a hingeless dustcover design, meaning that the stock cover just kind of sits on top of the table, but could be knocked out of place, hitting the tonearm or causing other damage. My cat has actually done that. With the Decksaver, it fits nice and tight, over the edge of the deck, and will not slide around. It is airtight, meaning that dust or pet hairs cannot sneak inside. It's lighter than the stock cover as well. One thing to consider: if you plan on playing records with the Decksaver on, you will need a flatter headshell (the little grabber arm on the Technichs headshell sticks up too high for the needle to make it all the way to the inside of the record, because of that divit in between the two rectangles on the cover). I got a Sumiko HS 10 and it plays fine with the dustcover.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Pricy, but well worth it. These covers are the real deal if you have a practice setup at your home. They are not made of the cheap fragile plastic that the oem 1200 dust covers came with. They're a little on the spendy side but when compared to the alternatives of having a bulky DJ coffin that would cost three times as much or replacing the lesser OEM covers which are rare and not that much cheaper than these. I'm really satisfied with them. I liked them so much that I picked up decksavers for my traktor z2 mixer and Maschine as well!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Snug fit Was looking for a dustcover for my 1200 and finding an original would have cost twice as much. This cover actually keeps out dust better than the original hinged lid.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Tough as steel! This cover is better than the original dust cover for 3 reasons... It fits over the turntable as opposed to sitting on it, thus dust cannot come in. It is totally industructble. And it is more stylish than the original. These things are great and I highly reccomend it!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Why did I wait so long? I've had custom coffins for my 1200's for years and for asthetic reasons I've always removed the OE dust cover brackets. This Decksaver stays snug to the top of the 1's & 2's.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great! I got my decksaver and from the first minute i felt great about it. Much more comfortable about thinking on my turntable been so well protected from dust and any harm could happend while im not using it. I love the felling so much that i allready order one for my minilogue synth. Maybe a little bit expensive but i guess its what you paid for that level of peace of mind.
