The American Dynamics Network Client V4.3 is used for obtaining and then previewing live of recorded footage from one or multiple Intellex Digital Video Management Systems (DVMS). Transfer of this video data is done over a TCP/IP wide area network (WAN), Local area network (LAN), the Internet, or a dial-up modem. AD designed this software so that it can run on universal PC equipment. The client acts as a retrieval device when either one or multiple Intellex units are connected on a network. This software is capable of displaying 16 remote locations on one display screen and up to 64 cameras when additional live views are opened.
The client also downloads and stores video acquired through multiple cameras from the Intellex unit database within a single video incident located in the local video database. This software accessory enables a full-screen viewing of live video. A toggle button allows for switching between multi-pane and single-pane video viewing. Video analysis tools program cameras to record and activate search criteria based on motion-types - size, speed, direction, and exception. Control of multiple dome cameras through an optional manufacturer-specific camera control device connected to a remote Intellex unit, is provided by the Network Client V4.3. It also logs and displays activities that occur on Intellex units, for specific time periods.
