    Atdec VF-AT reviews

VF-AT Display Mount with Articulating Arm (Silver) is rated 4.6 out of 5 by 8.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good purchase I needed a monitor holder to get the screen lower than the standard ones and still be moveable to other viewers of the screen across the desk. Now, I don't have to crane my neck to see the screen with my bifocals. This one works great, was not expensive, built well (especially considering the price), and easy to assemble. The only down side for me was that one of the mounting screws sheared off in the process of assembly. That's what I get for using a screw gun instead my hand tools.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Tidy well-designed stand I'm using this with a Dell U2412M UltraSharp 24 LED Monitor. The clamp-on stand requires more than 2 of desk edge, and my desk didn't have that, so I drilled the hole for the mounting bolt. It holds the Dell without shake, although it took some trial and error to set the mount friction/holding force exactly right. It has good cord management as long as it's being used in a static position.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Visidec Articulated arm I use this to mount a computer monitor on which I use in my recording studio. I post my song lyrics on the moniter and it allows me to move it around for the best vantage point for reading the lyrics. It can be moved around and tilted to give the best point of sight for the comfort of the vocalist. I haven't found anything yet which I am dsipleased with.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Fantastic Design and Build Quality The headline says it. This product is built old-school, very well made and for the most part, strong. It comes with everything you need to mount it. Desk clamp is very well made if maybe over-built. Great finish, and polish. VESA mount is a little weak for heavier loads & could be improved. Swivel pivot on monitor also plastic. I would like to see it cast metal like the rest of it. Overall - I really like this VF-AT and after testing, bought four more.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Quality product This is an excellent accessory for your VESA monitor. The arm motion is very smooth and sturdy, built with high quality materials. Be aware of the weight limit as larger (28+) monitors probably won't be compatible. Also one minor issue is that if you don't want to extend the arm the monitor can't push back too much so it's not flush when not extended.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great stand, but not without some reservation... First, this is without a doubt a simple and attractive display mount. I have it holding up my LG 38 21:9 monitor, which comes in at 16.9lbs (just shy of the 17.6lb max weight supported by this stand). The fact the monitor is nearly 1 pound shy of the stand's max isn't an issue...it's the FlexiStar VESA mount that concerns me. The FlexiStar mount is a great concept: it allows you to mount a VESA 75 or VESA 100 monitor without having to switch mounting plates. Convenient, for sure. However, the mount is plastic--which makes sense considering it's ability to adjust in size--and this is my concern. It does feel like a high-quality and durable plastic, but I can't help but cringe thinking my $1,500 monitor is being held up by...plastic. There is an X-shaped metal that seems to add additional support within the FlexiStar, but the monitor is not screwed into any metal at all. I have used this for about 3 weeks so far. It's been sturdy so I can't complain due to it not actually failing. Since I am concerned about one of the most vital pieces on this being plastic, I looked on Atdec's site to see information on any warranties on the mount. Thankfully, this product has a 10-year warranty so I will be looking into what the warranty entails and if that brings any comfort to my worries. With that said and to be perfectly honest, I am considering exchanging it for another mount just for my mental self-preservation. I recommended this for displays which are less-than-16 pounds and don't cost $1,500. You may be bolder than I am but, I recommend if you get this mount, to take into consideration that a heavy-duty(?) plastic is what's actually keeping the monitor attached to the arm. NOTE: I've attached an image clipped from the product brochure that shows good photos of what it is I'm talking about. In the photo, all the black parts are made of plastic.
