The EverFocus H.264 IP Speed Dome Camera is an advanced PTZ network camera with triple H.264/MPEG4/MJPEG streaming capabilities at 30 FPS. By allowing different compression methods to be applied for recording and for live viewing, this saves on storage and network resources. Another unique function of this camera is auto tracking, which will allow the camera to lock onto and follow an object as it moves across the camera's field of view.
This camera uses a 1/4" Sony CCD with 530 TV lines of resolution to deliver clear and bright images of the surveillance area. In low light levels, the camera uses its Day/Night system to increase sensitivity levels to 0.01 lux (B/W mode). Together with a WDR function and other electronic picture controls, this will ensure a high degree of image visibility both day and night, and in various lighting environments.
This camera was designed for pendant mounting in an outdoor location, with its IP66 rated aluminum enclosure offering good protection from the weather. Optional brackets are available for wall mounting (EPTZ-WMB), corner mounting (EPTZ-CNMN), pole mounting (EPTZ-PLMN), or junction box (EPTZ-PBOX) installations. There is also an optional sun shield (EPTZ-SSM) available in case the mounting location involves excessive exposure to sunlight.
