The EverFocus Paragon 264 DVR outputs HD (1080i) video through its HDMI port, allowing images to be viewed in full screen on an HD monitor with a high degree of sharpness and color fidelity. For video compression, this DVR uses H.264 - a codec uniquely capable of producing great looking video while preserving storage and network resources. On account of its built-in multiplexer, this DVR can be used to simultaneously view, record, playback, archive and remotely access all 16 cameras.
This is one of the first EverFocus DVR's to support 3GPP mobile monitoring, in addition to standard web browser access. This way you can get in touch with the surveillance area anytime and from anywhere using your cell phone or other compatible handheld device. And thanks to EverFocus' free DDNS service, setting up a remote connection is quick and easy.
Video is recorded at 480 FPS across the 16 channels, resulting in smooth video playback for each camera input with every frame accounted for. Recording can be continuous or set to begin at a certain date and time or when motion is detected by a camera. This makes it easy to locate event material and at the same time saves on hard drive space.
