This Bigblue Sea & Sea Long Arm Adapter is a long arm section with a YS head adapter at one end and a 1" ball at the other. Use a Bigblue ball-joint clip to join it with other sections. The YS head adapter allows Sea & Sea strobes and other lights with a YS mount to be attached directly to the arm.
I use this product with the Bigblue AL1x5AFO light, my adapter had an aluminum ball (previous review had plastic) got the job done.
mediocre equipment has its drawbacks, plastic balls dammage easily with heavy lighting. machining tollerences not so good, balls loose on arrival thread easily stripped. heavy lights fall easily when out of the water and damage the anti rotation section of the ball. would be great with alluminium balls.
