Sony HDR-TG7V Full HD Flash Memory PAL Camcorder

Sony's HDR-TG7V Full HD Flash Memory PAL Camcorder belongs to Sony's stylish line of TG GPS capable camcorders. With a pistol-grip form-factor and sleek titanium body the HDR-TG7VE is both scratch-resistant and easy to use. Although it embodies many of the same design features as today's YouTube-centric pocket camcorders the TG7V far surpasses its more simplified counterparts.

The HDR-TG7V has a 16GB built-in flash memory with the option to record to Sony's Memory Stick media. The 1/5" Exmor CMOS sensor and the BIONZ image processor help you capture 1920 x 1080i high def video and 640 x 480 digital stills. Other support features include SteadyShot image stabilization, Face Detection, Smile Shutter, and Advanced Dual Record for capturing video and stills simultaneously.

In addition to these useful functions the HDR-TG7V also comes with GPS capabilities. Geotag your locations and save them on the Map Index. Your video clips can be uploaded to video sharing sites with your location information, or saved in your personal files according to location, making it easier to share and retrieve your memories.

Other highlights of the TG7V include 10x optical zoom, a 2.7" touchscreen LCD display, an HDMI output to HDTV, and features such as Face Index and Film Roll Index. Sony's Picture Motion Browser software comes included with the camera for editing on your Windows based PC.
