The Plustek PL1530 Scanner is a multi-functional scanner designed to make your workflow efficient. It features a 50-sheet Automatic Document Feeder (ADF) which can handle a variety of media sizes including business cards and legal-sized originals and its auto-detection sensor automatically determines the size of your document to make scanning different sizes easy. The ADF allows scanning of a letter size color document in as fast as 9 pages-per-minute (ppm) at 200dpi resolution and a B&W original in as fast as 15ppm.
One of the unique features of the PL1530 is its dual USB ports that allow connections to two PCs; one press of a button makes it easy to switch between you and another user. Another great feature of the PL1530 is its ability to scan multi-page documents on both sides. Files can be processed into electronic searchable PDF files at the touch of a button whether the original is color or B&W. They can then be stored in a folder of the host computer allowing easy retrieval whenever you need it.
This scanner is very easy to operate...drop a stack of papers into the automatic document feeder, and press a button to begin scanning. Three function buttons are pre-configured scanning to common applications such as PDF, searchable PDF, email and OCR programs.
