Epson Hot Press Bright Archival Inkjet Paper is definitely not a canvas material, it is a thick, smooth and bright matte fine art (ph buffered and archival) roll.

Can I use this paper to hot press transfer to T-Shirts? Can I use this paper with the Canon Pro-100 printer?
Asked by: michael
I have not tried this as a transfer medium as it was not designed for that. I would not suggest that it be used for transfers. The cold press cotton paper is thicker ((18mil), heavier (330 g/sqr-m) and semi-ridged paper compared to standard print papers. If the Canon Pro-100 will handle a straight through paper feed and the heavier paper, it should work with the right ICM color profile drivers.

question

Difference between Cold Press Bright and Hot Press Bright Epson Papers?
Asked by: Anonymous
Cold Press papers have texture, and the Hot Press papers are smooth. Think of it as pressing a hot iron on the material to smooth it out.

how is this on p700?
Asked by: Bruce
Unfortunately it is not compatible with the P700 since it is too wide. This Moab Entrada Rag Bright 190 would be compatible and similar in quality: https://bhpho.to/3r7pw8U

I have an Epson Stylus 2200 that still prints beautifully on Epson Velvet Fine Art paper. I bought some Epson Hot Press Bright, and found out there's no ICC profile for this paper on the Stylus 2200. The print comes out way off color using velvet FA settings. Yes, I did install the matte black ink. Any suggestions or workarounds for this problem?
Asked by: Cynthia
You would need to use a spectrophotometer to create a profile for it on your printer.
