The Axis Communications AXIS Q6034 PTZ Dome Network Camera combines HDTV quality video with advanced PTZ functionality to provide a high degree of security for indoor commercial surveillance establishments. Along with an 18x optical zoom, this camera features 360° endless pan, a fast pan/tilt speed of 450°/s as well as a full complement of preset and tour functions.

For efficient data management, this camera supports multiple video streaming in the H.264 and MJPEG file formats at rates of up to 30 fps. Each video can also be individually adjusted for frame rates and bandwidth to suite a particular network environment. An SD/SDHC card slot enables local recording and can also be used as a recording backup in case of a network failure.

This camera includes a High PoE Midspan that sends power to the camera via the Ethernet cable. By eliminating the need to run a separate power cable this offers greater flexibility in camera placement while reducing installation costs.

This camera can be installed on a surface or recessed inside a hard or drop ceiling using the included mounting hardware.

Compliance with SMPTE Standards
AXIS Q6034 provides HDTV 720p in compliance with SMPTE 296M standard of 1280x720 pixel resolution, full frame rate, HDTV color fidelity and a 16:9 format. AXIS Q6034 can deliver multiple, individually configurable H.264 and Motion JPEG video streams simultaneously. H.264 greatly optimizes bandwidth and storage use without compromising image quality.
Exceptional Coverage of Large Areas
AXIS Q6034 provides 18x optical and 12x digital zoom with autofocus. Due to its HDTV resolution, the camera's 18x zoom provides not only a level of detail that is comparable to a 36x zoom 4CIF camera, but also the extra advantage of a wider, 16:9 field of view. AXIS Q6034 features the Advanced Gatekeeper functionality, which enables the camera to automatically move to a preset position when motion is detected in a pre-defined area. The camera's day/night functionality ensures high image quality even in low-light conditions.
Power over Ethernet for Easy Installations
Support for High Power over Ethernet (High PoE) simplifies installation since only one cable is required for power, video and PTZ controls. A High PoE midspan is supplied with the camera.
