The Schneider Optics Tele-Xenar DC Control Lens (70mm) is a C-mount lens that covers a 2/3" format sensor with an 11mm image circle. With a numerical aperture of f/2.2 and low dispersion glass, it produces high-quality color images.
The DC-controlled motorized iris in the lens uses a DC voltage source as a control signal to adjust the speed of the motorized iris. This ensures constant brightness of image under conditions of varying object illumination. The broadband coating reduces stray light and helps in improving transmission over the spectral range (400-1000nm), providing for continuous lens visibility through near-IR spectrum. In addition to a helical focus and external focus lock, the lens also comes with an integrated front thread for M49 x 0.75 filters and a spot filter to allow for rapid light-sensitivity adjustment.
