The Zacuto Anti-Fog Protective Covers (Pack of 3) provide a replaceable anti-fogging layer on your Z-Finder Pro and V2 viewfinders, at the same time protecting them from scratching and other damage. An anti-fog coating is especially important when moving your camera between warm and cold environments.

Note: If your Z-Finder Pro and V2 did not ship with the anti-fog protective covers then you will need the Anti-Fog Protective Cover Upgrade Kit in order for them to work, as the lens cap is slightly different than the one you have now.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Must-have for Z-finder These covers definitely help keep the Z-finder from fogging when changing climates. That said, it still does tend to slowly fog up when shooting for a long duration, I think mainly due to the heat from my face when the z finder is pressed against my eye. They are also very easy to lose, as the can pop out of the Z-finder too easily. But it is good thing that they are cheap. They are also a bit difficult to clean, you have to air dry which takes awhile, not use any type of cloth on them as that will rub away the protective coatings. So it is good to have a couple of these in your camera bag.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I wish I had known... I had my Zacuto EVF for about a year and rarely used it as most of my work is usually cinematic style shots on tripods with monitors. When I did use it for ENG/run-n-gun, it was used in ideal conditions. About a month ago I had my first ENG job at a ski resort in bad weather. After not using the EVF for about a month, I hooked it up and tested the monitor without the z-finder attached. Once I got to VT, I put the z-finder on and found that the anti-fog cover had become cloudy and unusable. I had to take it off and had no replacement. This made for a difficult weekend of trying to keep the EVF fog free. Once I got home I looked into it and found that replacing the anti-fog cover is considered normal maintenance. If I had taken the time to read the user manual when I first got it, I would have known that and always kept replacements available. Now I know. If you have the Zacuto Z-Finder/EVF, BUY THESE! They work pretty well when they're in good shape. I do wish they lasted longer.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect for indoor event shooting! I had just cleaned the eye piece on my Zfinder the day before a wedding event. On the day of the event I realized I had forgotten put the anti-fog in the eye piece. Had a hard time pulling focus during the shoot due to fogging.. Once I installed the anti-fog, pulling focus with my DSLR was a breeze.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Does the job These are a must have for anyone using the Z-finder. They are coated plastic, and as such the surface is slightly tacky so you'll need to be really careful when cleaning them. Best to stock up on them and just replace when necessary. I can't imagine using the z-finder without these!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Indispensable for the Z-Finder I shoot a lot of videos with DSLR cameras and the Z-finder is one of the best accessory for this kind of cameras. But without the anti-fog protective cover it is close to worthless. I always have an extra pack of these covers in my bag.
