question

Slik shows the Pro Pod 382 CF having a maximum height of 1790 mm. You show it as 1630 mm. Which is correct?

O.K., Here are the measurements-- Fully extended, the Pro Pod 382 CF is 64.25 (1632 mm). This is from the floor to the top of the unit.- When mated with a SBH-60 compact ballhead 60, the full length is 66 (1676 mm) from the floor to the top of the disk where the camera would sit.- The unit folds down to 19 7/8 ... and then you can add the length of the ballhead if you'd like. It's a well-made unit that I was able to fit in the same case as a Slik tripod for a trip to northwest Wyoming (Grand Tetons and Yellowstone). I did not use it as much as I thought I would since the new camera that I purchased has excellent image stabilization, even up to 60x quasi-optical zoom. You can read my review of the camera on- http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/1023338-REG/panasonic_lumix_dmc_zs40_digital_camera.htmlThis monopod is also a great walking stick and you can keep a point-and-shoot mounted while hiking.Good luck!
