    Lastolite LL LS2480 reviews

Ezybox Hotshoe Kit with Mark 2 Bracket (30 x 30") is rated 4.7 out of 5 by 50.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great softbox for speedlights I have been using shoot-through and reflective umbrellas for portrait photography and decided to try a softbox. I got the largest size I thought would work with 1 speedlight and provide even lighting. I have successfully made 3/4 and full length portraits using this softbox. I'm very pleased with it. Be sure to adjust zoom level and flash output on the speedlight for best illumination pattern. See example photos using 35mm zoom on Nikon SB-700.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The Absolute Best Speedlite Softbox For off-camera Speedlite/Speedlight shooters, this softbox along with the 24 model is an indispensable tool. This is a great softbox, easy to set up, very tough, durable, light and portable. This is the best softbox on the market for Speedlite shooters. Get it with the Manfrotto 1052 BAC light stand and the Manfrotto 026 swivel umbrella adaptor because you must be able to tilt the softbox down on the light stand. Lastolite discontinued their fantastic Tilt Head with Spigot, which is perfect for this setup.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fantastic light for this size Easy to assemble, lightweight soft box. Ideal to use for weddings in parks. As this is rather large soft box for a speedlite, you will need one with a lot of power e.g. canon 600ex. In dark condition, you will have to shoot at full power, which will mean a recycle time of appr 1.5 secNote this works with speedlite flash only, you can NOT fit studio flash to this version. If you want to have both options, so flash and studio light , you need the EZYBOX II

Rated 5 out of 5 by from EZYBOX 30 Beautiful absolutely beautiful...have used it (two of these) for portraits of one and small groups. I also needed portability. I was looking at the cheaper impact models but after talking to some friends I went for the Lastolite. You know it is simply the old adage - you get what you pay for! and the quality of craftsmanship is 5 out of 5, ease of use is 5 out of 5, quality of light is 5 out of 5. Lightweight = 5 out of 5. you will need something like a Manfrotto 026 is you want to tilt the softbox but that is expected. If I can find one negative it is the size of the folded down package that cannot fit in a regular sized suitcase - very portable but don't try to go flying with this (oversized luggage charges will apply)

Rated 3 out of 5 by from fairly decent product The softbox does create a wonderfully soft light. However it can be annoying trying to get it back into the sleeve when you're done. The product goes together pretty quickly and easily, but every once in a while it can be a little irritating because the softbox wants to fold a certain way when you're trying to put the velcro white sheet in it. The strong plastic piece that holds the softbox to the adapter does a good job, but I get the feeling that as time goes on (a year or so from now) that plastic is going to get weaker and may have to buy a replacement piece.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from My Second One!!! I love everything about this softbox. I bought a 30'' kit last month, and added this 2nd box now. Great soft light with my Canon 580EX II. Folds up small for portability & travel. Great for outdoor location shoots. No complaints at all, well worth the price.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Hot Shoe EZYBOX 30X30 Great large source The 30X30 EZYBOX is a great large source and effective for portraits and small foods. It is easy and quick to setup and the two layers of diffusion make the quality of light very soft. It is quite big and can be difficult in small spaces. The downside is that it can be difficult to work with in windy conditions because of its size and the way it pinch-mounts to the flash bracket. A decent impact could also cause it to fall off of the mount so be careful. Overall it is a great soft box and valuable addition to my kit.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great easy to use softbox I use this a ton for portraits on location (engagement sessions/weddings/lifestyle portraits). I usually have this on a Manfrotto Monopod (I have an assistant hold it up for me) or on a lightstand. Great large softbox for great light. SUPER EASY TO SET UP and use (I wouldn't have bought it if that was not the case). The one con/problem I have run into is the HUGE size of it causes it to be more susceptable to being caught in the wind. Basically, if you want a SUPER easy to use light modifier, this is PERFECT!
