The Pelco C10CH Digital CCD Color Camera plugs directly into an AC outlet (230V), so there's no need for a power converter. Along with a hi-res 540 TVL CCD imager, this camera incorporates a full complement of selectable picture controls which can be used to enhance image quality in a variety of scene and lighting environments.
Among these controls are an analog eclipser and a backlight compensation (BLC) function. Analog eclipser helps an auto iris lens (not included) generate clearer images in cases where there is a strong backlight in an otherwise dark area. Backlight compensation's role is to eliminate the silhouetting effect caused when the subject matter is brightly lit from behind.
Other prominent picture controls include area masking, titling, pixel correction, and preset lighting profiles. All picture controls can be selected using the camera's side joystick, and viewed on the on-screen menu display.
This camera can be used with a Pelco DF5, DF8A, EH100, EH3508, or EH2508 series enclosure. Top and bottom mounts allow the camera to be secured to the upper or lower part of the housing. A CS lens mount on the camera offers compatibility with a wide range of industry standard CCTV lenses including DC and Video auto iris lenses.
