The Pelco CameraPak with Day/Night Camera (3-8mm Lens, Mount) includes a CC3770UH-7x Digital CCD Day/Night camera, 13VD3-8 varifocal lens, and PCM150-7 light-duty wall mount.
The CC3770UH-7x Digital Day/Night Camera has a SuperHAD 1/3" image sensor with a resolution of 540TVL (color) and 530TVL (B&W). It has a minimum illumination of 0.7 lux (color mode) and 0.09 (B&W mode) at f/1.2. Auto white balance takes a standard white color reference to adjust the RGB (red, green, and blue) colors to produce good quality images in a wide range of lighting conditions. Automatic gain control adjusts the signal strength to maintain a constant brightness level. Automatic backlight compensation adjusts video gain to correct the exposure when the object being captured is in front of a bright light source.
The camera uses a removable IR cut filter to switch between color and B&W as per the environmental lighting conditions. The compact camera has a standard CS lens mount, and can be used with fixed, manual, or DC-drive auto iris lenses. The auto iris is controlled through a standard 4-pin square connector (included).
A lockable thumb wheel is accessible from the top or bottom of the camera and makes for easy back focus adjustment. ESC (Electronic Shutter Control) adjusts the shutter speed to compensate for excessive light level and flicker-less mode reduces the flicker caused by different light conditions.
The easy-to-install camera has a quick connect power connection, UTP output (through an RJ45-10 connector), BNC video connector, service connector (handy for attaching a local video test monitor during camera setup), and internal mount for either top or bottom mounting.
Connecting via the included 4-pin plug, the 13VD3-8 CS mount lens features a direct-drive auto iris and has 2.7x optical zoom (manual). The manual focus lens comes with a spot filter and has a focal length of 3-8mm. A relative aperture size between f/1.0 and f/360 allows the intraspot-type lens to perform across a wide range of lighting conditions. The PCM150-7 is an adjustable camera mount suitable for wall or ceiling applications. With no exposed wires, the light-duty mount provides feed-through connections for either coax or UTP video applications. It can pass control signals to cameras using Pelco P/D and Coaxtrion protocols from head-end devices. The mount operates at 100-240 VAC.
