The Miller Compass 25 Sprinter II 2-Stage Carbon Fiber System (1854) includes the Compass 25 Fluid Head (1038), Sprinter II 2-stage Carbon Tripod (1576), Mid-level Spreader (993), Telescopic Pan Handle (694), Tripod Rubber Feet (475), and Arrow Softcase (872).
The Compass 25 Fluid Head (1038) is compatible with HDV, DVCAM, XDCAM, and P2HD cameras and has a selectable counterbalance system with support for payloads from 4 to 14 kg (8.8 - 30.8 lbs). With 5 selectable fluid pan and tilt drag positions, the fluid head offers a 360° pan with a tilt range of +90° to -75°.
In addition to the 70mm camera-sliding platform and a quick release Euro standard plate, the Compass 25 Fluid Head has a caliper disc braking system for effective pan/tilt locks. The fluid head also features an illuminated bubble level, 100mm ball leveling, and a replaceable tilt end rosette.
The Sprinter II 2-stage Carbon Tripod (1576) can be extended in height, and features high speed dual action leg locks, an inline carry handle, and rapid action transport clips. Two Sprint-Locks are located on the upper leg clamp of each tripod leg. Made from carbon fiber, the tripod offers industry standard 100mm bowl leveling, weights just 2.9 kg (6.4 lbs) and supports loads up to 45 kg (99.2 lbs).
The Mid-level Spreader (993) offers flexible adjustments for rapid setup or closing. Equipped with a top adjustment knob, the latch and swivel design spreader attachment enable fast setups and prevents accidental damage. Used for keeping the tripod legs at equal / pre-determined distance from each other, the spreader offers several adjustments and easy operation.
The Telescopic Pan Handle (694) comes with a black pan handle carrier and can extend up to 200mm (390 - 590mm). It also features black anodized aluminum tubing with a rubber grip.
The detachable Tripod Rubber Feet (475) are supplied as a set of 3 and provide support for the tripod on any surface.
The Arrow Softcase (872) is designed to fit 2-stage tripod systems and offers padded carry straps with a patented head-end cradle to protect the fluid head during transport. Made from weatherproof Cordura with heavy-duty zippers on the bag and pockets, the Arrow Softcase has a transport length of 930mm and offers complete protection to your tripod system.
