Excellent gain before feedback
Handles high SPL

Didn't work - B&H Unhelpful

I ordered this product and it arrived 9 months later without notification or updates from B&H. The product did not work and provided terrible audio. When I reached out to B&H for assistance they would not assist with a return saying we were outside of the 30 day window of ordering the product. We have bought a lot of gear from B&H in the past and we're extremely disappointed in B&H and this product.

Amazing performance in a small package

Our Church was looking for replacement choir mics as the ones we had were over 10 years old and were black and our ceiling is white. After talking to one of the B&H staff, they recommed this product, it isn't the cheapest and not the most expensive. Installation was a snap, the 50' cord is a blessing as some came with only 35', powerful pick up for such a small package. After installation most folks could no find them as they blend in so well. We may need one more mic for the size of our choir, but we were advised to try two as we could add more later if needed.

Would this mic also be acceptable to clip on an on-camera interview subject? Others in this $ range seem to only be omni mics.
Asked by: Bob
Thanks Calvin. I was mainly referring to recording sessions where the subject is speaking directly to the camera, for example reading off of a teleprompter. Seems like this mic would work in those situations. Correct?
