This works well on my old Canon T2i. I had an old cheap battery grip that was made of some flimsy plastic, this is a lot better.

Just purchased this for my Rebel T2i. As for fit and finish, five stars. So far, works great. The shutter release button is a little less smooth than the Canon's but by no means a deal breaker. Only thing I noticed is when using this while shooting vertically, the dial for changing shutter speed must be turned slower than the one on camera or it will not change the shutter speed. Other than that, works great.
