FUJIFILM JX280 Overview

The Fujifilm FinePix JX280 Digital Camera is an economical point and shoot camera for just about everyone. It's got 14.0 megapixels of resolution for clear, beautiful photos, digital image stabilization (say good-bye to shaky, blurry pics), tracking auto focus, smile, blink, and face detection to optimize focus and exposure for faces of people in your pictures. The 2.7" LCD screen makes it easy to frame and review your pictures.

The camera features a Fujinon 5x optical zoom lens (equivalent to 28-140mm on a 35mm camera) that can capture almost any type of shot you might want. You can also shoot HD video with 720p resolution with sound. You can select "Panorama Mode," by pressing the shutter button and then sweep the camera to pan the scene. The camera cleverly produces a stunning panorama shot, effortlessly and automatically. The features don't stop when you take the photo; Photobook Assist allows you to create a photobook folder where tagged images will be stored and organized accordingly. Your photobook can also be ordered online for print when connected to the internet, as well as when you go to stores to get your photos printed. The camera has many features including scene recognition (SR) auto to make picture taking easy.

14 Megapixels - With Vivid Colors and Clarity
An impressive 14 megapixels resolution won't miss the finest details of your subject. Images are captured sharp and clear, in vivid colors, even when printed at large sizes.
Fujinon 5x Optical Zoom Lens
28mm optical zoom lens allows you to capture the real scale, depth, and dynamism of the scene at the wide angle setting. You can zoom in on subjects in the distance.
High Sensitivity (max. ISO 3200)
With maximum sensitivity of ISO 3200, photos appear natural and more true to life even with limited available light. High sensitivity also stops the action of high-speed moving subjects. At ISO 3200, number of recorded pixels is limited to a maximum of 3 megapixels. At full resolution (14 megapixels), sensitivity is limited to a maximum ISO 1600.
Digital Image Stabilization
Digital Image Stabilizer reduces blurs caused from camera shake using high sensitivity and fast shutter speed. Captures moments in motion with crisp and clear results.
Movie Shooting
Capture high resolution images in 16:9 format. 1280 x 720 pixels [HD] (max. recording time: 15 min.), 640 x 480, and 320 x 240 pixels (30 frames/sec.) Allow 5x zoom ups during your recordings.
6 Scene SR Auto
Framed scenes are automatically detected and selected into appropriate camera settings: Portrait, Landscape, Night, Macro, Night portrait, and Backlit portrait.
Face Detection
Face Detection optimizes people pictures and adjusting focus and exposure to ensure bright, clear results. It can simultaneously recognize up to 10 faces in a photo. Share your group portraits using the Zoom Up function in playbacks, checking each detected face. Each priceless expression can be cropped and saved in clear high resolution results.
Red-Eye Removal in Detected Faces
Red-eye removal automatically detects and corrects flash reflection for a perfect end result.
Blink Detection
The camera will warn you when people in the frame are blinking, giving you the option to retake the photo, or enlarge the face so you can save or delete the image before you take the next shot.
Smile & Shoot Mode
The Smile & Shoot mode of Scene Position, automatically releases the shutter when the smile appears so you won't miss the adorable smile the moment they happen.
Motion Panorama
The camera lets you take panorama photos as simply as 1, 2, 3. It automatically stitches together three consecutive shots, with simple in-frame guidance to ensure the images are aligned. The resulting image is saved to the memory card as an impressive panorama.
Tracking Auto Focus
Keeps fast moving subjects in the frame and in focus, even at 5x zoom extended. Great for capturing dynamic close-ups.
Natural Light and with Flash
Choose this mode when you can't decide of you need to use the flash. Press the shutter and automatically capture the same scene twice: once with high sensitivity and natural light, and the second time with the intelligent flash. Later choose one or keep both.
Versatile Shooting Modes
In addition to a wide range of shooting modes, the FinePix S2800HD offers a selection of versatile scene positions that ensure optimum results no matter what the scene. Modes include Auto, SR auto, Scene position, Natural light, Natural light & with flash, movie, and Program auto.
Scene Position
Scene Position include: Smile, Portrait, Baby, Landscape, Sport, Night, Night (tripod), Fireworks, Sunset, Snow, Beach, Party, Flower, and Text.

Create a photo album in your camera. Easily accessible and mobile, you can share images with family and friends anytime, anywhere. Micro Thumbnail View
Up to 100 pictures can be viewed at a time in a 10 x 10 array of micro thumbnails. Convenient for smooth and comfortable playback.

This function corrects red-eyes while playing back close-ups and detected faces.
