The Philips SpeechExec Transcription Set 7177 is a budget-conscious bundle designed to streamline your dictation workflow. The included SpeechExec Transcribe software provides a visual overview of work to be done, access to file data, such as author name and status, along with speed control, DSS, WAV, WMA, MP3 playback, speed control, and automatic backspace. SpeechExec also features a folder view that is similar to Windows Explorer, meaning time spent learning the software is kept to a minimum.
The bundle also includes a set of lightweight, yet sturdy, under-the-chin earphones. These earphones feature a 10' cable that ensures freedom of movement. The third piece of the bundle is the ergonomic foot control. Adjustable to the user's particular needs, this pedal was designed with help from hospital ergonomists, and end users, for a system that is easy on the operator's body.
The SpeechExec Transcription set is compatible with Windows Vista, XP (SP2), and 2000 (SP4) operating systems. A minimum of Pentium III, 256MB of RAM, 100MB hard disk space, and a free USB port are recommended. Also necessary for use is a sound card and headphone output, or speakers.
