The Yamaha DTX550 Electronic Drum System is their complete or "suggested system", based around the DTX500 drum module. This traditional configuration is centered around the snare drum, hi-hat and ride cymbal. The DTX500 drum module is the systems sound source and brain with up to 427 carefully chosen sounds, 50 drum kits, 20 user locations, 12 inputs, Aux input and more. Included in the kit is the RS85A drum rack, snare drum pad, 3x tom pads, ride cymbal, crash cymbal, hi-hat pads, hi-hat stand and kick drum pad.
