The OUTREACH Lite Ethernet Extender from Veracity extends the Ethernet network connection and PoE power to non-network units beyond the 328' limit. The Ethernet extender comes with a network port that can be configured automatically for network speed, duplex, and crossover. Capable of restoring the network connection every 328', it maintains 200Mbps bandwidth of regular full-duplex 100Base-T Ethernet. This extender provides PoE to all connected devices up to 70W.

Would this device also extend the range of an Router/Access Point?
This unit will extend your power over ethernet distance another 100m. This will not give you better WIFI range from your router/access point.

To reach a distance of 500 ft (Cat 6 Cable PoE from NVR to Camera), do I need one PoE Extender in the middle only?
Yes you can put one of these in the middle of the run, just remember this model is not weather proof.
