The Autocue/QTV SSP07 Starter Series Prompter (7") is an ultra-lightweight (3lb / 1.4kg) prompter that consists of a 7" LCD prompter monitor with VGA and BNC video inputs, mounting system, 32' (10m) VGA cable, pop-up and fully adjustable hood, prompter glass, icon-based teleprompting software, and a USB security dongle.
Viewable up to a distance of 6.5' (2m), the LCD display of the SSP07 Prompter offers a brightness of 400 cd/m², contrast ratio of 200:1, and aspect ratio of 15:9. A fully adjustable mounting system can easily fit on all types of tripods without counterweights. A pop-up and fully adjustable hood, prompter glass, and mounting plate are included in a single unit that can be completely folded and packed into a custom case with foam inserts. Broadcast quality prompter glass (70:30) ensures that clear images are reflected and optimal light is delivered to the camera.
Equipped with dual-screen functionality, the SSP07 Prompter software allows you to reverse the text so that it is reflected in the prompter monitor, while allowing it to be viewed correctly on the PC. Designed to be user friendly, the prompter software allows you to import text from QStart, doc, rtf, and txt files and carry out other tasks using icon-based action buttons and multi-language menus. The hassle of installing and uninstalling licensed software between locations is eliminated by the use of a USB dongle that acts as a license-validating device. Multiple control options allow the prompter to be controlled via a keyboard, mouse, Shuttle Xpress, or foot controllers.
