The IDX P-V257 Endura V-Mount Plate is a 2-pin D-tap DC Out and DigiView plate that is an enhanced variation of the P-V2 Plate series. Providing an ideal solution for combining Endura V-Mount batteries to handheld cameras without the standard V-Mount style battery lock, the plate offers precise DC power connectivity.

For camera systems compliant with DigiView, the remaining battery power can be displayed in the viewfinder. Converting 12VDC power, the plate uses 1 tap for regulated 5V/7.3V (switchable). The second D-tap offers 50W (max) unregulated battery throughput for equipment such as lights and HDD recorders.

You can use the Endura V-Mount Plate for a variety of cameras using the optional IDX cables specific to the camera models. The maximum power output available from the plate is 50W, and it measures 3.25 x 5.59 x 0.47" and weighs 0.40 lb.

Note: Requires factory install if used with the Panasonic AF100 camera

    P-V257 Endura V-Mount Plate is rated 5.0 out of 5 by 5.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great battery plate! I bought this to make a custom battery plate for my Canon 5DM2 camera rig, and didn't want to buy another pre-made adapter. I plug-in my camera, monitor, Blackmagic Mini-Converter, and soon my Tascam DR-100 digital recorder. Using an IDX Endura battery gives me the convenience of powering all my devices off one large battery. Eliminates the need for swapping multiple batteries, and carrying 3 different chargers, or other batteries.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great for 5D This v-mount plate coupled with the MicroBalance Plus from Redrock Micro make a great and affordable power solution for your DSLR shoulder rig. With one dedicated power-tap for the 5D and another (12VDC 50watts max) to power either an audio device or monitor or both with a splitter!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from It's ok! I changed my connector battery for V-mount and even use Power Tap 12 V and 7 V.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Versatile batery plate 7.3V and 12V d-tap let me power my camera (7.3V), a led ligth (12V) and a wireless microphone receiver (12V). I use it on a Redrock microPod Accessory Plate (I had to found screws because the supplied ones did not fit). No more multiple batteries that dies out at different times and much longer running time with a single battery, sweet!
