Unlike a previous Sennheiser pro windscreen that I bought many years ago, which was excellent in all ways, this product is unusable. It does not fit the microphone properly (the opening is too big, causing it to slide loosely when it should stay affixed snugly to the microphone) and the exterior is not a soft velour as described but instead it is scratchy and harsh, rather like a used paint roller left out to dry. Surely this must be the result of a quality control issue with Sennheiser because I've encountered at least one similar review of this product on another vendor's website. Do not buy; you will probably just wind up returning the windscreen like I did.
