I bought this so I could use my MB 250 with sony 2/3 and Panasonic Varicam cameras. Installs easily and works as it should. It can be removed easily if you don't need bars. A really good lightweight alternative for field use, when you don't want extra bulk and weight.

if you have a vocas clip-on matte box and want to mount it on rods, this is the only device vocas sells to do that, and it's expensive. it is adjustable, but only from the camera side, which is hard to reach when it's mounted and you're trying to adjust it. if you reverse the mount so you can adjust from the front, the mounting screw prevents the rotating stage of the matte box from turning. poor design for too much money, but it was cheaper than buying a whole new matte box. oh, and the first one i bought, the mounting screw broke within two tightens.

Can you confirm that this adapter works with Vocas Matte box MB-310?
It works perfectly with my MB-325 but I'm not sure about the 310. Check the Vocas website, it should list the exact models it works with.
