Vocas 0350-0410 Overview

The Vocas Monitor Support offers direct attachment to standard 15mm rails and provides support to monitors in professional video environments.

Combined with the standard 15mm rails, you can use the Monitor Support with all monitors that can be mounted on 1/4" screws. Optimal viewing is possible due to the multiple position adjustment of the arm that attaches to the 15mm bracket. You can use the monitor support for monitors weighing up to 3.3 lb.

Not the quality i expected for the money

The vocas support is a good idea , but with the Noga arm attached you are really quite limited as to what positions you're monitor can be . Put it the wrong way and watch the arm give way , and you're expensive monitor hit the ground

Vocas is not a well known company in the US, but they have very high quality and very well though out products. I am just glad B and H carries them! This is one of the most handy accessories I own. It fits on the matte box rails and has a Noga arm attached to it. I use it with my Canon XF305 and allowws me to place my Ikan monitor right next to the camera for viewing. Over the years, I've collected a lot of misc. clamps, mounts and arms to hold monitors. The all work to varying degrees, but when you want to be more self contained and not have extra gear attached to the tripod, mounted on top of the camera, or next to it on another stand, this monitor arm does the trick. It is far better and more sturdy than using an extrended rail on the hot shoe mount to hold wireless mics and a monitor. I like the fact that when not in use the arm can contort and fold up next to the lens on the camera right hand side, but I wish there was an easy method to remove just the Noga arm while leaving the bar suppport attached to the rails. Because you have to remove and stack the vocas support onto the matte box rails in proper order, the monitor support is not very easy to quickly remove, In my configuration it sits behind the matte box and behind the follow focus unit. Even though the Vocas accessories can be quickly repositioned due to their unique clamping locks, you still can clip them to the rails like some of the Arri products can. However, the trade off to this is that having the arm attached tightly to the monitor support itself means that there is no sagging or unsrewing of the arm when the monitor is attached. How many times have people that used monitor supports been irritated at having the arm or mount move on them where it is attached to the camera? This is a great accessory in the Vocas line and onte that should not be missed in building your mattebox-followfocus kit!
