The Sea Arm 8 SLR Set from Sea & Sea is a modular, highly adjustable kit enabling the connection of an external strobe to an underwater DSLR system. It features the SA8 Fixed Ball Base, which connects to the grip handle of a Sea & Sea camera housing tray.
Extending upward from here are two SA8 Double Ball Arms – one medium (8.8") and one small (5.6") – and three ball clamps that connect the components. The clamps loosen and tighten to enable the articulation of the two-section arm. Topping off the SLR Set is an SA8 Strobe Head - Small, which is used to mount a YS series strobe from Sea & Sea.
The system is modular – for instance, which arm segment claims the top spot is up to you – and ball joints make the connections adjustable. Meticulously machined from a solid aluminum block, the Sea Arm 8 system is durable and rigid yet very lightweight at just 1 lb.
