The Sea Arm 8 Fixed Ball Base is a base adapter to mount on the top of a Sea & Sea housing grip. The ball base attaches to the Extra Grip or the Camera Tray Adapter and holds a Double Ball Arm with the Ball Clamp. The unit is constructed from corrosion-resistant, anodized aluminum alloy and rubber. It comes with a hexagon wrench, 4 Cap bolts (2 S and 2 L) and 2 washers.

I use this to mount my spotter light to my UW camera sytem for night dives. I also mounted on the other handle to attach my strobe.
I love this little piece of kit. It screws into the side (or top) mount of my Sea and Sea housing, eliminating the need for an extra base plate or arm. It makes my underwater kit smaller, lighter, and easier to travel with. I currently use mine on the left side of the housing, which I have hooked into an 8 inch arm, and Sea and Sea YS-D1 flash. I'll be getting a second unit to do the same on the right.
