Sierra Video 1616V3S-XL Overview

The Kramer Electronics YUV Matrix Switcher (16x16) is a high-bandwidth (450MHz) routing switcher that comes with 5-channel (RGBHV), 4-channel (RGBS), 3-channel (RGB/YUV) or 2-channel s-Video (Y/C) system. With low crosstalk (-80dB) and balanced stereo audio, the switcher offers zipper sound-free switching between 16 inputs and 16 outputs.

With matrix mapping universal breakaway switching, the input levels such as R, G, B, H, and V, left and right audio input can be switched independently. The video follow sync switching allows for advance switching of H and V channels in RGBHV inputs thereby offering high-quality switching between non-synchronous sources. You can group inputs and assign them a common destination thereby allowing multiple groups to be accessed by a single router. The Qwik Adjust Knob Rotary Control Interface with the 80 character LCD display makes for quick and easy setup, adjustment and signal switching.

Provided with sync reporting feature, 16x16 YUV Matrix Switcher captures and reports the input sync rates for each input signal that can be read using Sierra Video's TyLinx Pro Router Control Software or the Host port protocol. The switcher can detect and re-shape the input signal and adjust the output to accurate TTL (transistor-transistor logic) levels.

Selectable Termination - 510 or 75Ω (each input)

Room Grouping Capability - Several inputs may be grouped and operated independently of other input groups on the routing switchers. This allows one routing switcher to be used for multiple "rooms" where the control system for each room will address only the inputs and outputs assigned to that room.
Qwik Adjust Knob Rotary Control Interface with the 80 character LCD display makes for quick and easy setup, adjustment and signal switching
Can also be controlled by RS-232/422, RS-485 and web browser
