The Vivotek FD7132 Day/Night 3-Axis PIR Fixed Dome Network Camera with wide-angle varifocal lens (3.3-12mm) offers real-time images in MPEG-4 and MJPEG formats. The fixed dome camera uses Vivotek's VVTK-1000 SoC processor that provides high-quality videos at up to 30 fps in VGA resolution. With the flexible 3-axis mechanism and industrial design, the indoor camera is easy to install in ceiling/wall applications. The camera uses a removable IR-cut filter to switch between color and B&W as per the lighting changes of the ambient.
With built-in PIR (Passive Infrared), the camera detects any motion caused by temperature changes emitted by objects within the detection range and also prevents occurrences of false alarms. The included IR illuminators offer additional lighting in low light environments up to 50' (15m), enabling you to capture clear images even in complete darkness. The camera also supports features such as privacy masks, time stamp and text caption overlay, flip/mirror, automatic gain control, and auto white balance.
As the Axis PIR Fixed Dome Network Camera supports 3GPP, you can monitor the camera via the 3GPP enabled cell phones. The 2-way audio with built-in microphone enables you to communicate with visitors or potential intruders from the operator's base station. Power is supplied to the camera through PoE; hence the camera gets power from the network itself without any extra wiring for auxiliary power outlets. The camera supports HTTPS (Hyper Text Transfer Protocol over SSL), which protects streaming data transmission across the network.
