Coronado SolarMax II H-Alpha Double Stacking Etalon Solar Filter (40mm )

Coronado's 40mm SolarMax II H-Alpha Double Stacking Etalon Solar Filter is designed for to narrow the bandpass of their SolarMax II telescope from 0.7Å to 0.5Å to increases visibility of surface detail and active regions on the chromosphere. The filter features the proprietary RichView tuning system that allows users to tune the performance and increase the contrast of active regions, filaments and surface detail; or re-tune to highlight prominences. This filter is not a standalone solar filter and requires the use of a primary etalon and blocking filter. Failure to take these precautions may result severe and permanent eye damage.
