The Shape Composite Grip Camera Support is an adjustable, lightweight, and compact 15mm LWS shoulder mount rig for DSLRs and compact video cameras. The rig is built around the Paparazzi Riser baseplate, a pair of 15mm Sliding Rod Blocks, and a set of four 8" 15mm rods. The sliding rod blocks enable you to adjust the height of the rods to suit your camera setup. For shoulder mounted shooting, handles and a shoulder pad are included the mount onto the rods. The handles feature rosettes and SHAPE's patented spring-loaded push-button technology that lets you quickly adjust the angle of the grips on-the-fly with just the push of your thumb. The Adjustable Composite Shoulder Pad is height adjustable thanks to its own Sliding Rod Block. For additional support and comfort, a Back Pad is also included that attaches to the rear of the shoulder pad. When you need to go tripod-mounted, the Paparazzi Riser features 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 threaded holes at the bottom.

This rig is really geared more towards DSLRs and compact video cameras. You could use a RED Epic on it, but it would not be ideal.

Which follow focus models work with this rig? The riser seems like it could create issues depending on the model.
We recommend some of the heftier follow focus systems like ones made by Bright Tangerine, OConnor, ARRI, Movcam, Wooden Camera, Chrosziel, Vocas, and Tilta.

You could use this system with the C200. However the baseplate is really geared more towards use with a DSLR or smaller camcorder. The SHAPE Offset Rig for Canon EOS C200 would be a much better option, BH #SHC200OF.

Hi Zina, Thank your question! Our PADCW1 is certainly an option here but we also have our PADCW2 which has a rod bloc so it can be installed on the back rods sticking out of the shoulder pad. Will this work with the Panasonic Ag Dvx200 4k being over 10lbs?
Hello Charles, Thank you for contacting us! The Panasonic AG DVX 200 should not be an issue if you install it on our COMPOSITE GRIP, if you plan on framing with the LCD on the side of the camera. Once installed, it will be positioned a bit in front of your shoulder though.
