The BlackArmor NAS 400 Network Storage Server from Seagate is a network storage enclosure, designed with small-business environments in mind. The network array, which features 4 hot-swappable hard disk bays, can be configured in any of a variety of RAID levels.
The enclosure supports a variety of useful business features, including support for the Microsoft Active Directory system. It can also act as a server for iTunes or DLNA media streaming. It connects to your network via dual Gigabit Ethernet ports, with full support for port failover protection. Four USB 2.0 ports can be used to expand storage via external USB devices, to connect printers for network use, and connect a UPS for monitoring and safe shutdown in the event of a power failure.
