    Lowepro LP36255 reviews

    S&F Memory Wallet 20 is rated 4.5 out of 5 by 71.
Rated 3 out of 5 by from Quality Bag with some Design Flaws Like their camera bags, the memory wallet is made from the same high quality materials but it does have some design flaws. - The case is a bit hard to zip closed when you have more than 8 CF cards. - You have to take the CF cards out of their plastic cases, leaving the multipin socket of the cards exposed. CF cases do not fit in this wallet. - Hard to identify card size. Card labels are covered. I would recommend this if the above doesn't bother you. I am still using it for now until I find something better.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Doesn't work for me Don't buy this case unless you always keep your cards in their original plastic cases. The elastic in some of the 12 compartments is not quite as taut as others and when you turn the wallet upside down or drop it, cards can slip out. If I kept each card in its original plastic case, the added size might make this less likely to happen but I move fast and don't want to bother with them. If I turn the card sideways to make it fit more securely below the top of the elastic, I have to pull each out in order to see if it has been used, which is obvious for me because I turn it backwards when there are images already on it to be saved. Also, the zipper does not seal the case completely. Though unlikely, the potential exists that a loose card within could escape through the gap. It's design does not fit the way I prefer to work.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not quite what I had in mind I have a Lowepro Stealth Reporter bag that comes with a card wallet. I don't love that wallet, and I was looking for something else. This card wallet is quite small, which I found appealing, and it could easily fit in most gear bags. It's typical Lowepro quality, which is great. Unfortunately, it doesn't work for me. I prefer to keep my CF cards in their plastic cases for storage; I just don't like the idea of cards being stored loosely, without protective cases. I'm using Lexar 8GB compact flash cards, and when they're in their little plastic cases they just barely fit in the little elastic sleeves, but you kind of have to wrestle with it. I used to use Sandisk brand CF cards, and I still carry those as backups... No matter what I do, the Sandisk cards and cases just will not fit in this wallet. Also, like every other card wallet out there, it gets quite bulky if you fill up all of the slots. It probably works really well with SD cards, since they're considerably smaller and thinner than CF cards. I plan to keep this wallet as a backup, but it just doesn't work for me as a primary card wallet.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Only reasonable I did not think much practice. Too small, difficult handling of the cards, which must be kept in the case without the original plastic boxes. I bought the fame of the brand, but I found similar products much better and more attractive price.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not so good If you want to store your cards especially SD out of their protective plastic cases, this might be ok. But I don't like the contacts rubbing on the material and when you store them in the cases, this cases can barely be zipped.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Decent card wallet I've always used LowePro card wallets. This latest version is well made, and holds probably more cards than I would ever require. I liked the older design that featured mesh pockets, but the elastic strips in this version are OK. If you look at the wallet carefully, it was obviously designed for CF cards. The SD cards fit (being smaller), but are not held as snugly as the CFs.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Well constructed, can use with SD cards. I'm using this for SD cards although it seems to be made to hold larger cards. The SD cards fit best when left in their plastic cases. I bought this because I had lost my previous memory wallet including the cards with most of my photo shoot on them on a recent nature shoot while I was hurriedly loading a fresh card in to get a shot. The loop allows me to attach the case to my belt or backpack which I now consider essential.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from As Advertised It's a memory card wallet, I use it to store and carry memory cards. It's small and compact and holds 12 memory cards. When you load it with cards it gets kind of FAT.
