Toshiba M645-S4080 Overview

The Satellite M645-S4080 14" Notebook Computer from Toshiba is a portable computer, built with performance in mind. The system's 14" widescreen display features a 16:9 aspect ratio and the ability to display 720p video at native resolution. The LED backlight uses less energy and has fewer environmental toxins than a traditional CCFL lamp, while at the same time delivering superior image quality and evenly distributed lighting -- without the need for warm-up time.

The computer also boasts an integrated memory card reader, webcam, ExpressCard expansion slot, HDMI port, and eSATA port. Its keyboard features a LED backlight, eliminating the need to hunt for keys in dimly lit environments, and the computer's touchpad supports multi-touch input. The Satellite features Toshiba's Fusion X2 finish in the Charcoal color scheme.

The system is powered by a dual-core 2.53GHz Intel Core i5-460M CPU, which can be overclocked to 2.8GHz using Intel Turbo Boost. It boasts 6GB of memory, a 640GB 5400rpm SATA hard drive, a SuperMulti DVD burner with Labelflash printing, Bluetooth 2.1+EDR, and 802.11n Wi-Fi. Graphics are provided by dedicated nVIDIA GeForce GT 330M GPU with 1GB of GDDR3 memory. Windows 7 Home Premium (64-bit) is the installed operating system.
