The JVC GD-171U SXGA LCD Monitor (17") supports a native resolution of 1280 x 1024 pixels, and has a 250cd/m2 luminance and 16.7 million colors to display bright and true-to-life images. While a compact cabinet and slim frame save space, ghosting of images is reduced due to a low panel response time of 5ms. The slim bezel of the non-glare SXGA screen ensures maximum viewing area.
Dot crawl is reduced using the 3D comb filter to ensure a sharp picture with less noise. The LCD monitor supports PAL/NTSC SDTV input formats and offers automatic PAL/NTSC detection. Wide horizontal and vertical viewing angles (170° and 160° respectively) help you view the images without distortion even from the room corners or when the display is mounted at a height. A tilt-adjustable stand further facilitates clear viewing by helping you position the monitor at the desired angle.
The multi-language on screen menu display includes English, German, French, Italian, and Spanish and the two built-in speakers (2W each) come in useful for listening in to the audio feedback from a security camera. Standard BNC connectors make video input/output connections easier.
