VA342 Professional Flash Bracket is rated 4.5 out of 5 by 24.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from The Perfect Flash Bracket for any Budget As a working Professional, I find this bracket to be the perfect blending of Functionality and Affordability. It works exactly as it should, keeping my flash centered above my lens when I'm shooting vertically or Horizontally. It's light weight is a gift when all my other equipment is so hefty. The few negatives...It doesn't fold flat to fit in my camera bag (that's what assistants are for, right?) and the foam grip tends to migrate up on the handle. All in all, I don't think you can beat this one for the price!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Does a good job of placing the flash above the camera This works great with my Bower flash and Vello off-camera 3' flash cord. I also like the foam handle it provides. The multiple threaded holes in the bottom bar allow me to mount the quick release pads for my monopod and tripod to have them there as needed. The tilt function is nice to move the flash at an angle to the lens.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Solid Equipment for Price This is a great flash bracket for price. Solid construction and easy to use. The foam handle grip is loosely fitted to the bracket, over time I suspect it will crack and fall apart. I was disappointed with how large it is compared to my camera. I use a Canon 7D and the bracket, although it fits, is slightly larger than I am comfortable using. It has an adjustable height but even on its most compact settings, the bracket arm rises 4 inches above the top of my camera. The lower bar is fairly long, with my camera screwed in at a comfortable distance from the handle, it covers the battery door, requiring you to unscrew the bracket to replace batteries. All in all for the price it's a good deal. The large size is easy to manage and not an overall issue.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Good for the Money This bracket is good for the money. I mounted my Nikon SB-600 speedlight to the flash mount. The flash mount didn't take the adapter I have to the PC cable trigger, but I reversed the screw clamp and it fit well.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fits DSLR with Battery Grip Very nice bracket, great price. I was concerned this wouldn't fit my D300 with battery grip, but there's plenty of room. I can't raise my built-in, on-camera flash, but don't need to anyway: if I want to command a remote flash with the camera's speedlight, I just raise the bracket arm. I recommend the shortest (1.5 ft) flash cord. Since the arm can't be locked into position and has no indexed detents, be careful it doesn't swing as you tilt the bracket.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Bower Flash Bracket This is a decent flash bracket for the price.you may want to tighten the nut on the flip joint mine had a lot of play when turning camera for portraits flash would really swing over very quickly and hard.kind of caught me off guard. Just tighten and all is good. Attaches to camera firmly but always a good rule to check the wing nut now and then. I use it on a canon 60 D with a canon 430 EX ll flash it performs as should no other problems.
